The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force very soon, and it seems like GDPR is on everyone’s lips at the moment. Although everyone is talking about it, many still aren’t sure what will be required of them and what they need to do to be ready.

We have heard people referring to GDPR as representing the “biggest shift in data protection in a lifetime” and it being “the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years” which has got some people wanting to stick their head in the sand and hope that the whole thing goes away.

GDPR needs to be dealt with head on and the sooner you start, the better position you will be in come May 2018. Not only will you need to consider how you deal with your marketing, your data, what IT changes need to be made and what training you need to provide to your staff, you will also need to carry out due diligence on other businesses compliance to whom you pass data.

Our team of experts here at Nettl can help with all aspects. We have partnered with IT experts who have the knowledge to help you with the GDPR regulations as well as Cyber Security compliance and accreditation.
